Our Leadership Team

Zach Gaddy

Zach Gaddy

OWNER

Zach began his woodworking journey after college, working as a design engineer for a luxury millwork company specializing in high-end homes and yachts. He joined Metrolina Woodworks in 2014, often stepping into the shop or job sites to bring his designs to life—experiences that sparked a passion for hands-on craftsmanship.

He quickly moved into a Project Manager role, known for anticipating challenges and refining designs with practical insight. In 2022, Zach became the proud owner of Metrolina, continuing the legacy of founder Fred Crawford (“Sir Frederick of Stallings”).

Zach loves turning drawings into beautiful finished pieces and values the relationships built along the way. Outside work, he’s a Manchester United and Charlotte FC fan, active in a men’s Bible study, and enjoys mountain getaways, travel with his wife Jessica, and being silly with his two kids.

Kyle McKee

Kyle McKee

PROJECT MANAGER

Kyle McKee joined Metrolina Woodworks as Project Manager in March 2022, bringing 15 years of experience in project management, construction, operations, and customer service. He thrives on turning design concepts into reality through teamwork and problem-solving, finding fulfillment in seeing projects through from start to finish.

Kyle values Metrolina’s relationship-driven “trees to keys” approach—where one person manages every detail from bid to closeout—for the personal client experience and consistently high-end results.

Outside of work, Kyle enjoys time with his two boys, boating, golfing, and shooting. He also loves tinkering around the house and building birdhouses with his young son, who shares his love for construction.

Sam Ratier

Sam Ratier

PROJECT MANAGER

Sam moved from Rhode Island to Charlotte in 2019 and quickly immersed himself in every aspect of Metrolina Woodworks—from delivery and fabrication to installation. These hands-on experiences gave him a deep understanding of builder and installer needs, paving the way for his transition to Project Manager.

He thrives on the constant learning his role demands, from keeping up with new products and building trends to gaining new skills. Sam is energized by the variety of project scopes and values the collaborative culture at Metrolina—both in the office and during the drawing phase with builders—which he believes is key to delivering standout results.

Outside of work, Sam enjoys golfing, visiting local breweries, and attending sporting events—especially when the Patriots come to play the Panthers in Charlotte.

Skye

CHIEF GREETER & HEAD OF SECURITY

Skye is a Lab/Husky mix and everyone's favorite coworker. Skye has been coming to work since she was just 8 weeks old and has been boosting morale (and stealing snacks) ever since. Now at 11 years old, she is a pro at greeting clients, supervising lunch breaks, and napping through meetings.
